Centella Asiatica also known as Lei Gong root, tiger grass, collapse big bowl, stone lotus in India, Gotu Kola in Sinhala, CICA in Romance languages(From the root of cicatrisation scar healing), and its english name is Centella Asiaca; Hydrocotyle Asiatica.
Main producing areas of Centella Asiatica: Guangxi, Yunnan province, Guizhou province and Madagascar. These regions, with their high-altitude terrain, intense sunlight, unique climate, and environment served as excellent habitats for high-quality Centella Asiatica. Harvesting takes place during the summer and autumn seasons, followed by drying and removal of impurities. In China, the raw material is mainly harvested as dried whole plants, while in countries like Madagascar, the leaves are harvested. Both sources are derived from wild and natural plants.
